Congress Street Expo Day II
Tuesday, February 5th
It was windy today with a high of 75 degrees
The wind whipped up a lot of dust which claimed many dealers as casualties in the war to keep their wares clean and sparkling, and the dust out of their lunches. A little Tucson flavor.

More polished rainbow obsidian, the same as I saw earlier at Boatners, only this at less than half the price at $25 per pound. Yesterday at the Expo I found a barrel full of chunks of rainbow obsidian rough offered at $30 per pound, no minimum. The dealer confided that he was selling the rough for a third party and that he considered that price too high to be associated with it on the Shop's Show report. So he shall remain anonymous. Sometimes it pays to look around. However, if it's a specific primo piece that's caught your eye, it's also often true at this Show that he who hesitates goes home without it. You pays your money and takes your choice.
