Karen and I happened across these "Fossil Books" while browsing the Sahara Sea Collection presented by DocFossil at the Mineral and Fossil Co-op show. We thought them humorous. These wanted from $30 to $45 to grace your own library of rock books.
These contain Silurian period cephalopod fossils belonging to the order Orthocerida from the Atas Mountains in Morocco. Here are some interesting images at the DocFossil web site of this material being quarried in Morocco.
DocFossil and the other merchants at the Mineral and Fossil Co-op have have come a long way since this show was held in a tent.
