The Main Event III - Making Little Rockhounds

These volcanic 'hail stones' were formed during an explosive eruption when the cloud of volcanic debris mixed with water vapor in clouds to make a sticky mud that deposited around dust or rock fragments.

A skull cast under close examination and scrutiny. Several species of interesting dinosaur are also known as the "sail-reptiles" because they sported erect "sails" of soft tissue which were supported by rod-like extensions of their vertebrae. This sail may have played a role in body temperature regulation, by serving as a solar heat collector to warm the dinosaur when cold and as a radiator for surplus heat when hot. There is a Dimetrodon depicted in the poster above.
